Global Service Delivery Unit VR
A linear based experience taking the user on a tour through the array of services the Fujitsu GSDU offer. Designed and developed in a number of weeks for the 2019 Fujitsu Forum event. The client already had a number of 360 videos, but was looking for a better medium to present them. Our solution was a VR experience with an interactive dashboard at the end, allowing the user to freely travel to different GSDU locations around the globe using a look-based interaction method.

CONCEPT
As with any VR project, we initially took to the drawing board creating style frames, concept art, and fleshing out the different space.
Following the success of Workplace of the Future VR, we utilised a similar style and aesthetic of futuristic and clean for all seven unique spaces.
Development
Much like the Workplace of the Future VR experience, we segmented the virtual space for increased graphical performance using a level streaming system, providing graphical headroom and the ability to avoid optimising assets and compromising the visuals.
Due to the target hardware being delivered later in the later development phase, the challenge was ensuring the experience ran smoothly and a stable frame rate on a laptop. User testing and feedback provided essential information in the refinement process to prepare for delivery. Fortunately, the experience worked seamlessly on the target hardware and was shipped soon after, the client couldn’t have been happier.
360 Video
To enable further accessibility we provided the client a 360 video of the experience, ensuring people on all devices had the chance to view GSDU VR.
